The Manchester Arena bombing was a suicide bombing attack in Manchester, United Kingdom on 22 May 2017. A radical group detonated a shrapnel-laden homemade bomb as people were leaving the Manchester Arena following a concert by the American singer Ariana Grande. We speak with Rebecca Clements, an NHS nurse who was part of the team treating those brought to nearby hospitals and explain how the impact of the event, the media and working with those affected by that devastating day lead her to find clarity in the chaos.
