My guest this week is Paula D. Tozer from New Brunswick, Canada. Paula and I met through Toastmasters International a few years ago and it was great to finally catch up for an interview. Paula shares some of her fascinating life journey and how the death of 15 friends and family over a decade gave her time to contemplate her life and purpose and make some positive shifts in her life; including writing her first book, Saving Your Owl Life: Learning to Live Like You Are Dying. It was during this time that she rediscovered and embraced her creative side and talents which has led her to writing, acting, singing, songwriter and more! She is now at a place in her life where she values and embraces her creativity at every opportunity and is living her best life on her terms rather than on auto pilot. Paula is an author, Creativity Coach, singer/songwriter, actor, competitive speaker, and mentor with Toastmasters. Her first book, Saving Your Owl Life: Learning to Live Like You Are Dying, is available on Amazon. Her latest work, An Elegant Mind's Handbook, was published by DeVorss & Company last fall. She is an avid sports enthusiast and embraces an active lifestyle that she believes is a vital part of any elegant mindset. In a little over a decade Paula experienced the deaths of 15 family and friends. These experiences gave her "cause for pause" and contemplation. It was during this time that she began to embrace her creativity with greater enthusiasm and discovered that writing songs, poems and prose was profoundly healing and led to her writing Saving Your Own Life: Learning to Live Like You Are Dying.
