Jen Interviews the energetic and authentic Rev. Lanette R. Frazier who shares what prompted a shift in her life and journey. We share a funny and timely story of how we ended up connecting that proves there are no accidents! Lanette shares some of her heart and energy along with some of her truths and how being open can make all the difference - even when we may need some nudging! Learn more about Lanette. She is the daughter of Leonard Bailey (Deceased) and Irene Miller-Brown. She was born on December 21, 1968 in Newark, New Jersey and in her early teenage years accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior Rev. Lanette R. Frazier is the proud Pastor of St. Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church in McGehee, Arkansas and Soldier’s Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Hamburg, Arkansas. Prior to becoming a full-time pastor at St. Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church, she simultaneously pastored at Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Church, in Marvell, Arkansas, worked full-time in the Mayor’s office in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was a full-time modular student at Oral Roberts University. Rev. Frazier graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministries at Oral Roberts University in April 2016. She graduated on May 4, 2019 with her Master of Divinity degree. In Fall 2019, Rev. Frazier started her Doctor of Ministry degree at Oral Roberts University and has started her dissertation process. Rev. Frazier loves helping and encouraging people; and for a few years she assisted with the spiritual services at Southeast Community Correction Center for Women on every Sunday at 7 a.m.; and 2nd and 4th Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and had the opportunity to preach to the women. She was the Director of Communications, Spiritual Aftercare Mentor, Regional Coordinator and the Facilitator for the Women of Excellence workshops for Freedom for Life Ministries; which was designed to assist, not only those currently incarcerated, but also those who have been released and have begun a new life and needed to become more successful in their endeavor to enrich their life. She was voted in as the East Arkansas Women in Ministry Coordinator in 2018 and 2019; and still serves as the East Arkansas Coordinator. In September 2019 the Bishop appointed Rev. Frazier to the East Arkansas Board of Examiners. As a member of the board, she is an instructor for those who have accepted their call into ministry. Also, Rev. Frazier was appointed as the Christian Education Director and Dean for the Crossett District by her Presiding Elder. Additionally, Rev. Frazier is a Spiritual and Empowerment Speaker and Coach. She is the author of two books “Standing Victoriously Over Your Storm" and "Love Conquers the Land of Chaos." Her book “Love Conquers the Land of Chaos” was showcased at the International Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany on October 13, 2018. Her other books she has in the works are, “Linked Up to God or Locked Down to the Devil,” “Mental Abuse the Devil’s Playground,” and "Crazy Faith." She is the CEO of La Renee Ministries, Inc. A 501c3 non-profit ministry which seeks to transform, empower, and impact the lives of youth and young adult women to help build their self-esteem and self-confidence (lanetterfrazier.com). Rev. Frazier has three favorite scriptures that has sustained her through her journey of life and they are: Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you,” Matthew 7:7-8, “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened,” and Romans 8:28, “All things work together for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.” Rev. Frazier’s only true desire is that people see the love of God permeating inside of her.
