Ahmad shares some of his incredible journey from growing up in Damascus then fleeing war-torn Syria. I first met Ahmad in 2017 shortly after his arrival in Canada through Toastmasters and have truly enjoyed seeing his growth. He is passionate about advocating for peace, mental health, love, and harmony. Ahmad was born and raised in Damascus, Syria, before he travelled to Malaysia for his undergrad because of the war there in 2012. He fell in love with the Maritimes and considers Canada his new home.
