James and Justin fill the gap between Climate Change and Economies using a real example, the New England Clean Energy Connect. We go through what the project is, what it's ecological impact is, and how the economic incentives facing CMP and Hydro-Quebec relate to that. This transitions us into economies as we realize that ecology and economy are intimately related. This relatedness will be a running theme through the economies episode. Note: We had accidentally called it the Northeast Clean Energy Connect, where we meant the New England Clean Energy Connect. It's typically referred to by just its abbreviation, NECEC.
