Fela Anikulapo Kuti left Nigeria to study Medicine in the UK. Once he landed in London, things took a twist and he ended up studying music and starting his own band. He returned to Nigeria a family man, but with an itch to pursue music on a higher level. Over the next few decades Fela would build a cult following through his music and lyrics. This week we look at the influence the father of Afrobeat has 24 years after his death.
