This week, I will talk about my own experience building my own alter, and understanding that sometimes traditions happen throughout the year. The traditions do not only occur during the holiday season, but sometimes the holiday season does make some of our traditions more popular. I share about my own son, building his alter for a school assignment and how he immediately thought of honoring his great grandmother. Think about what traditions you have and want to make sure you pass on to your children or younger generations. What are you doing to document those down?
