Beneath the surface lies a world built from forgotten kingdoms, ancient gods, ruined civilizations, and stories buried deep within the darkness. Tonight, we’re slowing everything down and exploring the entire lore of Hollow Knight and Silksong, following the story from the mysteries of Hallownest to Hornet’s journey through the kingdom of Pharloom. We’ll travel through the history of Hallownest, the Pale King, the Radiance, the Infection, the Ancient Basin, the Abyss, and the creation of the Vessels. We’ll explore the story of the Knight, Hornet, the Hollow Knight, the Dreamers, the Five Great Knights, the Mantis Tribe, the Grimm Troupe, and the many strange characters whose stories reveal what happened to this once-great kingdom. But Hallownest is only part of the journey. We’ll also venture into Silksong and explore Pharloom, its inhabitants, its history, its mysteries, and Hornet’s new journey through a kingdom shaped by silk, song, faith, and forces very different from those she encountered beneath Hallownest. How did Hallownest truly fall? Why were thousands of Vessels created beneath the kingdom? What exactly was the relationship between the Pale King and the Radiance? Who is Hornet, and why is her connection to Hallownest so important? And what does her journey through Pharloom reveal about the larger world beyond the ruins we explored in Hollow Knight? Some stories are tragic. Some are mysterious. Some are surprisingly beautiful. And others are hidden so deeply within environmental details, dialogue, characters, and forgotten locations that they can easily be missed entirely. This is a calm and immersive journey through the lore of Hollow Knight and Silksong, made for late-night listening, relaxing, studying, background listening, or slowly drifting off while exploring these strange and beautiful kingdoms. So dim the lights, get comfortable, close your eyes, and let’s descend into the worlds of Hollow Knight and Silksong. Welcome back to the StoriesofGames Network.
