He has published 5 books: "Men Holding Eggs" won the 2004 Oregon Book Award. "Moist Meridian" was a finalist for the 2011 Oregon Book Award. He has edited 2 collections, 1 of stories and 1 of poetry, about fishing. He was a featured poet for Poetry NW. He also ran a commentary in Harvard Review for new books.
