In this final episode of our review series, I want to talk less about the plot and more about how Everything’s Going to Be Great 2025 afdah made me feel.

This film doesn’t really follow a traditional structure. It’s more like a series of emotional snapshots—each one showing a different part of what it means to lose someone and still keep going.

What really touched me was the character of Lester. He’s young, imaginative, and completely heartbroken. But instead of falling apart, he builds this little world inside his mind where his dad still lives. It’s sad, but also incredibly moving.

The film never tells you how to feel. It just gives you space to feel it.

The performances are gentle. The story is simple. But somehow, it all adds up to something powerful.

I saw it on Afdah, and the streaming experience was perfect. I honestly needed a film like this. One that doesn't demand anything from you, but still gives you a lot.

So if you're tired of loud, empty movies and want something that actually means something—watch Everything’s Going to Be Great. You’ll walk away quieter, but heavier in the best way.
