You are a simple man who lives for adventure, you live it and breathe it every single day of your life, and its also how you make your money. You have done many things in the past and many of them you would like to forget, but a day ago you were simply sitting in a tavern in Mirstone when you were approached by a man. This man had a job for you: Go into a dungeon and retrieve an artifact that was once a family heirloom that has been lost to the test of time and to the hands of whatever lies in the darkness. You accept because you were a little strept for gold and it seemed easy enough. So now you find yourself at the mouth of a cold, wet, dark cave; Two hand crossbows at your hips, a dagger in your boot, a torch, and some thieves tools in your bag and a sword in your hand.
