Just 10 miles north of Boston is the city of Lynn, MA, which was originally known for its industrial economy up into the early to mid 20th century. Times changed and so did the reputation of the largest city in Essex county, earning it the title of "The City of Sin" largely due to the influx of crime during the '60s into the '80s. Flash forward to now, Lynn is the home of over 90,000 residents and also the home of some very promising talent. Amongst the names we hear of often, has to be C. Wells, a rapper from the "West Side" of the city, known for his lyricism and catchy hooks–and this week, we had the chance to give him his flowers and have him represent his city! C. Wells is not a new-comer to the MA Hip-Hop scene as he's been one of the most consistent rappers out of Lynn within this past decade. He's been able to release a slew of mixtapes and singles and more recently, some EP's that's gotten him features from the likes of G Herbo and Dave East. Even more recently he was spotted with a cameo in the Millyz "Cantaloupe" music video. Needless to say, the "Live Famous" creator has made a name for himself and continues to build on that. C.
