We are looking into circular economy, sustainability and the ways in which that will change the construction industry in the time ahead. Our guests all are key players in the construction industry’s transition to circular economy. The construction industry is infamously known as the 40% industry, accounting for 40 percent of all CO2 emissions, as well as producing the biggest amount of waste of any sector in the world. So the need for a change is huge: We need to change how we value building materials, how we catalogue what we have, how we use the data of what is in our buildings, that we reuse or recycle instead of throwing away when constructing our cities.
