Two essays that will go into The Book are featured. The first deals with my recollection of President John Kennedy.. He was the hero of many in my parent's generation and the first president I remember. I saw JFK when he campaigned for office and his assassination still is vividly in my memory. The second shares the impact on me of President Barack Obama's recent announced support for same-sex marriage.
