On this episode we continue the discussion from the previous episode. Eating healthy is good for your overall health – and there are many ways to do it. Making smart food choices can also help you manage your weight and lower your risk for certain chronic (long-term) diseases. When you eat healthy, you can reduce your risk for: Obesity.Emphasize fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk products. Include a variety of protein foods such as seafood, lean meats and poultry, eggs, legumes (beans and peas), soy products, nuts, and seeds.
