Genny was diagnosed with Type 2 Bipolar Disorder when she was 13 years old. For years she was ashamed and didn't tell her friends. Recently Genny decided it was time to start speaking up and change the stigma surrounding mental health disorders. She started her blog, The Lotus Letter, to put a face on Bipolar Disorder. She wants the world to see that even though she has times that she struggles, she still has a happy life. Genny graduated from college, she has an adorable family, and she is just all around a light to everyone she meets. I am so excited to bring you Genny's story!
