Today Zach Rhoads sits down with Harry Nelson to discuss Harry's latest book, "The United States of Opioids" in which he delivers critical insights about the Opioid Crisis, along with a roadmap with strategies for finding our way out. Per usual, Zach did not take anything for granted, and he applied pressure on Harry to explain many of his more nuanced points-- a task which Mr. Nelson handled like a true scholar. More about Harry, his book and today's interview Harry Nelson is a member of the FSDP Advisory Board. He is the co-founding and managing partner of Nelson Hardiman. Harry is also one of the nation’s leading healthcare attorneys, and a top expert on the future of U.S. healthcare. Throughout his book, and in our conversation today, Harry Nelson shares an essential and fascinating history of how opioid addiction grew roots into our culture, and lays out the case for why we cannot afford to continue our current, failing approach to pain management and opioid addiction. In the last few chapters of the book, Harry addresses the deeper roots of the crisis beyond health policy; he explains how we became a nation imprisoned by pain and how we can break free. He provides a practical guide for how we can reclaim our rights, our lives, and our health. He and I talk about all of this and more, coming up. _________ LEARN MORE ABOUT FSDP at http://fsdp.org/ __________ Purchase your copy of "The United States of Opioids: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NSCZRVX/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 - - - Visit Harry's Web Site: https://harrynelson.com - - - Visit the Nelson / Hardiman Site: https://www.nelsonhardiman.com/
