Diana Beitz of Fairfax Learning Center in Kansas City, Kansas works with students who want to succeed but have struggled in the traditional classroom environment. Homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse -- these are just a few of the challenges many of these students face in their daily lives. In this episode, Diana shares some of the innovative approaches she and the rest of the Fairfax staff have taken in their quest to help students succeed.
