There are more bugs on this earth than humans, and it's not even close. Actually, there are–at any given time–around 10 quintillion insects on the earth. Think about that for a second. That the number one, followed by 25 zeroes. So, it's fair to say that when it comes to finding something sustainable, we could look no further than out 6-legged brethren. People have been eating insects for ages... ... but when I think about eating bugs, I usually think about someone else eating them. What happens when bug-eating gets closer to home? What happens when those bugs are the primary ingredient in your butter? Would you still take a bite? We're not so sure you would, but that's alright, because we probably wouldn't eat it either.
