"Ghosting" is a phenomena which appears to be widely accepted in our culture, increasingly. People don't show up or suddenly disappear with no reason or cause - at least that's what it appears like to us. This applies to Job Searching as well. Over the years I continuously hear complaints from Job Seekers especially regarding Staffing Agencies doing this and ghosting people who've spent time, energy, and resources in attending Interviews, technical tests, etc - only to not at least receive some form of feedback, but just being "ghosted". If you've been ghosted by a Staffing Agency, you're not alone.
