Every year on St. Patrick’s Day, one street in our city turns into a giant party attended by thousands of drunk students. The lead up to the party always comes with a bunch of media coverage about the size of the party, the cost of policing it, and renewed promises to put an end to the festivities. Even so, year after year, the party rages on.
