Ger Redmond hails from Dublin, Ireland and had a budding career as a teenager to become a professional soccer player, but a family situation forced him to give up on his dream. He turned to a life of crime and ended up in prison. Upon his release he turned his life around and began competing in Triathlons. Eventually turning professional in 2018.
