In addition to being the Managing Editor of Wear Your Voice Magazine, Da’Shaun also recently published their debut title, Belly of the Beast, which tackles the relationship between anti-fatness and anti-blackness. The conversation explores writing as a tool for change (24:30), the concept of abolition (26:50), and the importance of moving beyond the gender binary (30:30).
