It was VE Day a whole 80 years ago on May 8th 1945 and THE COLONEL commemorates our brave boys who died to keep us playing great music. The start of the pod is a little solemn, as its should be, but it soon gets into its 1.5 hour groove with more than a soupçon of eclectic and random tunes to stuff in your pipe. And THE COLONEL welcomes his first EVER guest MATT WILLIAMS, manager of The Bywater in downtown LG and all round good egg. The Bywater is one of the founding members of the Signal Society, Pirate Cat Radio's loyalty rewards program (deets on KPCR.org). Matt chats us through his 3 favorite records and talks about delicious food which will make you dribble a bit. So get out the bunting, make some marmalade sandwiches and sing "God save The King" - its a VE Day special...
