You can’t spell “Career Advice” without “A Dear Crevice” and many other things in this week’s episode. Operating at a full 60% enthusiasm for this one the fellas get into the correct and also Marcus’ way of referencing “San Francisco,” pooping in the streets, the importance of hot dog-based etiquette organizations, the glory of Man Ramp, how even the most oppressive hate-mongers would probably enjoy shaving with a stylish gay-lovin’ razor and the fäirly böring rebränding öf IKEA. After a well-deserved break, they introduce a new segment featuring Marcus' most thought-provoking questions for the universe. After a quick segment failure and regrouping, they discuss career advice, both new and old, and how it relates to design. Do the ancient adages still ring true or were those just decent guidelines for a different time? The guys offer up stories and advice for dealing with clients, padding your estimates, pricing accordingly, converting a passion into a job, non-traditional project approaches, reading the room and the never-ending topic of art vs design. Throw in a few tangents, some audio clips and a bunch of notable quotes and you got yourself a stew! Dig it!
