Many pundits were quick to write-off the big screen as yet another Covid casualty. In a year when cinema closures were the new normal and the world's biggest movie #boxoffice market drops 80% (!), it's hard to feel optimistic about the future of cinema venues. Patrick von Sychowski, cinema guru and co-founder of celluloidjunkie, has some encouraging thoughts and a belief that the big screen's best days are still ahead.
