Episode 11 sponsored by Roka Sports and USA Triathlon features interviews with youth and junior athletes Bryce Baca, Lane Hollis, Makenna Gates, and Ethan Nordman before and after their races at Duathlon Nationals. All four qualified for Worlds in Spain in 2019 and both Bryce and Makenna qualified in both their draft legal and non-drafting race. The duathlon race experience is certainly different from triathlon but was a great experience. You never know when the swim could be cancelled and the race turned into a duathlon so it is nice to have the experience under my belt. Thanks to Caryn Marconi from USA Triathlon for all the assistance with interviews and scheduling. It was a great event!
