Today we begin our walkthrough of The Hobbit by J.R.R.Tolkien. We discuss dwarves and their manners, wizards and their unexpected appearances, and hobbits, especially one of the most beloved hobbits, Bilbo Baggins. We conclude with the moral of Chapter One being: don't invite people to tea unless you really mean it.
