In a return less likely than getting a full refund for those 48 packs of toilet paper, it's the unexpected new episode of Black and White Noise, the official podcast of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club! As the world struggles under the brunt of the coronavirus/SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 crisis the Boys from the Noise return from their accidental exile to add their hopelessly ill-informed tuppenceworths. Helping us keep the debate to the more salient points, we were delighted to be joined by DAFC Chairman Ross McArthur, and board member and Supporters' Liaison Officer Drew Main who talked us through some of the most recent news at the club, and in particular the efforts to avoid the worst of the crisis and the amazing response (again) of Pars fans in supporting our club in a time of need. We were 'led by the science' of course, and met remotely through the wonders of Zoom on 31 March. Reports that Stephen insisted on a custom background featuring an endless loop of Martin Hardie's freekick against the Rovers are unconfirmed at this stage. In fact so much did we enjoy our Zoom chat (and also the immediate rendering of half of it as completely outdated and pointless when the SPFL vote just days later suddenly changed the landscape considerably) that we did it again on Tuesday 28 April! The resulting show is thus cobbled together from those two recording sessions. Hopefully doesn't sound too much like it. Anyway, we hope you enjoy it. Also, is anyone still reading this?
