In this "The Work" episode we discuss the  "The New Masculinity" with Sidh Hart.  The women's liberation movement rose as a response to the toxic masculinity that the patriarchy force fed unto men. Male and female energy now find themselves in a state of imbalance, and as the roles and expectations for each gender start to blur, there is a need to redefine the meaning and importance of masculinity in a new society. Sid Hart and Lisa Suizu tackles these topics head on, Sid with a both Indian and Latino cultures that project a strong Macho and characteristics onto the man. And Lisa, with a Norwegian Japanese culture that have contrasting female roles. As a result, he has had to face many obstacles in order to express his sexuality and gender identity fully and recognizes the importance of spirituality as tool for freeing ourselves. How can we break the current outdated patterns for gender norms and put in place a new role for masculinity? How can men come into contact with their female energy and support women in the quest for a more balanced gender structure in our society?  Presented by Massive Source - www.amassivesource.com
