Education

Dr. Jake Noland joins our Headmaster, Deacon Brad Watkins, for a conversation about positively engaged learners. Dr. Noland serves as the Dean of Faculty at STMA, but also teaches logic, bioethics, philosophy, economics, and a number of electives, and currently serves as our Athletic Director and head coach for men’s soccer team, and our women’s basketball and soccer teams.   In this episode we will discuss some of our thoughts around positive engagement, not just in school, but also in our faith and life. Conversely, we talk about challenges when we are not intentionally predisposed to learning, especially with regard to sleep, diet, and exercise. Finally, we’ll discuss ways we can become more positively engaged and the outcomes we might see.
