Here it is, the first episode! Justin and James explore the various ways in which climate change has been presented, studied, and questioned. They move through the beginnings and the original notions of global warming, to problems facing our past 30 years of continuous effort to make change happen in pollution, and finally a look into where we must turn to solve the problem. Corrections: at about 55:30, James meant to say the units of radiation exposure are Millisieverts, but instead had a mental block and something not quite right came out.  Watch us over at YouTube!  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCw5ZGaU0kLVm1mpcubrDDCA?view_as=subscriber  Help us record somewhere other than James' bedroom by supporting us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/sapientiapodcast Come check us out on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/sapientiapodcast/  Resources:  IPCC Reports WMO Reports EPA Air Quality Kyoto Protocol Paris Agreement US Energy Subsidies Radiation Health Effects: EPA and Linear No Threshold Criticisms Jordan Peterson on whether climate change will unite the world and what can be done Economics of climate change innovation, Bjørn Lomborg Why renewables can’t save the planet, Michael Shellenberger Tragedy of the Commons One Atmosphere, Peter Singer Cosmopolitan Justice, Responsibility, and Global Climate Change, Simon Caney Hyperobjects - Philosophy and Ecology after the End of the World, Timothy Morton (no link) --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sapientia/support
