As Christmas approaches, those of us who have been given the gift of life through an organ transplant face a challenging writing exercise. In this first episode of the new series of 'This Second Chance Life' I talk about how it is, to be faced with trying to say thank you for a gift which saved your life, and yet, for which the words 'thank you' will never seem enough.Note - apologies for getting the date wrong - this is a typical example of how in recovery you can still be struggling with fatigue and confusion. ?
