Handling his own training and programming, Sean also finished ninth at the 2016 US Olympic Trials with a throw of 68.96m. Throughout his collegiate career, he has accumulated eight NCAA DIII All-American titles, along with four NCAA DIII National Champion titles. Donnelly currently holds the NCAA DIII weight throw record at 21.75m.
