She Reads, She Watches Podcast

TV & Film

We want to help you spend your entertainment time wisely. In this episode Amanda shares her Top 3 books (She Reads) and Emily shares her Top 3 movies (She Watches) from the month of August.  We end the episode with a Must Read Book and Must Watch suggestion.  We enjoy a pair of fall themed beers while we talk about the popular memoirs Educated and Save Me the Plums. We also have a good YA Fantasy recommendation.  You’ll hear about some under-the-radar quirky films like The Lobster, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and The Peanut Butter Falcon.  Our Must Read book is a romantic comedy and our Must Watch Movie is an endearing documentary stirring up nostalgia from childhood.  We’d love to hear what you think about our selections. You can find us on Twitter: Amanda at @AmandaEspi and Emily at @lonely_tourist. Time-stamped show notes are below with references to every book and film we mentioned in this episode.  Thank you for listening!
