Miscellaneous
For this week's episode - Jeff and Ryan kick off the podcast by diving into a conversation surrounding Major League Baseball's recent 2020 Hall of Fame induction announcement that includes just two players entering Cooperstown in Derek Jeter and Larry Walker. Two very different paths to the Hall with Jeter missing out on becoming just the second ever first ballot Hall of Famer to receive a 100% unanimous ballot by just one vote, and Walker receiving just enough votes to make it in on his 10th an final opportunity appearing on the ballot. We also discuss a few names that were left out once again, including Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and Curt Schilling - as well as former Indians great Omar Vizquel who made a significant leap in vote percentages this year. The boys also discuss the NFL Conference Championship games from last weekend and debate who is the NBA's midseason MVP and if rookie Zion Williamson, who made his NBA debut shortly after recording this episode, can push Ja Morant for Rookie of the Year honors at the end of the season.
