Education

Erin McGoff is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, director,  editor and TikTok creator with 1.8 Million Followers. Erin spends her time directing films and has worked on several independent projects as well as with some pretty big companies such as: Google, National Geographic, Capital One, Ogilvy, Hilton, and Under Armour. When Erin isn't directing she is sharing career tips, film knowledge, and creating educational content on TikTok for her 1.8 Million followers. Both Liz and Ashley left this episode feeling very informed on a topic that they knew very little about, the film industry. Erin shares with us what the production and post-production process looks like, describes to us what a director really does, how to gain experience in the industry, and what makes this industry so fascinating! On the episode we also make sure to discuss Erin's following on TikTok. We ask her what it's like to gain so much attention in such a short period of time, what the exposure has done for her professionally, how she became so passionate about sharing career tips, and what it's been like to be able to help millions of people.  We love this episode with Erin so much and it certainly left us feeling more knowledgable and inspired.  Erin McGoff Website :: http://www.erinmcgoff.com/Follow Erin on Instagram :: https://www.instagram.com/erinmcgoff/?hl=enFollow Erin on TikTok :: https://www.tiktok.com/@erinmcgoff?lang=enWatch Erin's Films :: https://vimeo.com/erinmcgoffThis Little Land of Mines Documentary :: https://www.thislittlelandofmines.com/watch
