Mark is a certified wildlife biologist who received his masters degree, with an emphasis on natural resource policy, from Yale. He is also the Executive Director of Responsive Management, an internationally recognized survey research firm specializing in attitudes toward natural resource and outdoor recreation issues. During his 30+ year career with Responsive Management, Mark has helped conduct over 1,00 studies, authored 150 publications, and 4 books. During the conversation, Jason and Mark talk about how Responsive Management was started, trends in hunter numbers, and what the general public thinks about hunting and hunters. They also discuss how the hunting industry and hunters can help promote hunting in a positive way and Mark shares what he feels is the biggest threat to hunting in North America.
