This episode is energetically nourishing on so many levels! I am thrilled to have psychic herbalist Emily Hamilton on the podcast today to talk about connecting and communicating with the plant world. I love the work Emily shares and her Institute for Psychic Herbalism, a space for those who are sensitive to energy that yearn to anchor those energetics in connection to the Earth. In this beautiful evolving conversation we discuss Emily's journey to finding and creating psychic herbalism, her family trips to Big Sur and how that was the catalyst to energetic purging and discovery of her sensitivities to energy, how Earth has a way of self correcting and healing and pivotal moments of being held by nature in Big Sur and Sequim in Washington. We dive into how her health journey and trouble with acne led her to the plant world after nothing else worked. Everything changed when you found herbal medicine, she had a knowingness of what she came here to do. We discuss the importance of communicating with nature and how getting back into communication with the Earth with change the world. We also talk about trusting within your body, what psychic herbalism means to her, the plants and the fungi, how she works with clairvoyance - being empowered over the energy that you are seeing and then releasing the trigger points. She beautifully shares looking at the plant past lives and how they are used as medicine in the past, how are bodies are vessels of co-creation with the plants, and working with reishi to help her energetically and using wild rose to move through the old stories. We talk about relationship with instagram and speaking the truth you feel, sharing information you believe is important, sharing from a place of intention and how she uses instagram as a filtered journal. We beautifully dive into the energetics on the world today and moving through fear to share our authenticity. Emily also shares the magical story of connecting with her sacred partner and how she began to connect with him energetically before meeting him which led to her releasing it to the universe and her incredible meeting story.
