Maya visits Brij Bhushan’s mother and engages in a casual chat. However, she notices something strange—a group of bodybuilders, which strikes her as odd. As the conversation progresses, the old woman reveals that the Baram baba phenomenon is relatively recent; in her time, they worshiped rather than feared it. Digging deeper, Maya discovers that whatever it is, it resides within that house. Unable to officially search the premises, she decides to investigate at night.
