This quick episode is to open eyes and hearts regarding the natural disaster, Hurricane Ida, hitting New Orleans on the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. One of the Sol Women, Cally and her partner Albert, are New Orleans residents and Cally talks about their experience with evacuating their home and what everything has looked like since Ida hit their city. Please do what you can to donate and educate yourselves on what's happening in New Orleans. There are so many people's lives affected by this, some more disproportionately than others, and some that haven't even recovered since Katrina hit 16 years ago. This city needs our help and our attention.  Here is a spreadsheet of all the places in which you can help and donate:  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/109DJha4aQU-Hku5_RfIYw110CrLJ02_wWzHu4ScRGzM/htmlview Cally has a resilient attitude in this episode and sheds light on the impact gratitude can have in moments like these. She speaks on what gratitude practices look like and she gives some incredible journal prompts for the listeners to begin or add to their own gratitude practice. She also talks about the group she started called Ripple, where she leads breath-work classes and more, and gives ways in which the listeners can join and be apart of this membership.  Check out her website and Instagram for more information on how to join Ripple:  https://www.vesselhealing.net/plans-pricing @callyskye Having a gratitude practice not only creates resilience in hard times, but it also creates a positive subconscious reaction and response to obstacles that come throughout life. Thank you for taking the time to listen to this episode, we are grateful for each of you.  --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/solwomen/support
