This episode is all about impostor syndrome. What it means, what it looks like, what the women's experience with it has been, and how they've worked to move away from this feeling of being an 'impostor' in their own crafts. Impostor syndrome refers to an internal experience of believing that you are not as competent as others perceive you to be. It's basically feeling like a phony and as if you are going to be found out as a fraud. It can feel like you don't belong where you are, or that you've gotten there due to dumb luck. This can affect anyone no matter their social status, work background, skill level, or degree of expertise. (verywellmind)  The women discuss their own personal insecurities and how they make daily choices to counter the voices in their head telling them they aren't good enough. They address the topic of what it is they actually do for their careers, and how it can be complicated to explain sometimes. They also talk about the idea of apologizing for every little thing, and how this can take away from the sacred meaning of actually apologizing for something that deserves an apology. This is another raw episode where the women open up and share their minds and hearts. We hope you enjoy listening.  --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/solwomen/support
