This week Susan chats with cosmetic surgeon Dr Tony Prochazka. Tony pursued a non-conformist training in both medicine and music. He interrupted his medical career to study Jazz Guitar at the VCA, having played Cello with AYO during his schooling. He studied Classical Cello in Germany and London before building a successful career in cosmetic surgery. Tony shares how his musical training provides the focus, concentration and discipline required for his surgical career and why he thinks concerts are harder than surgery. Maintaining a busy musical life, he is a founding member and Principal Cellist of Corpus Medicorum and recently performed all 6 Bach Cello Suites one a single program at a solo show in Shanghai.
