A (social) earthquake of epic proportions rocks Geeta’s colony. A girl in the neighbourhood has eloped with a boy from another caste. The aftershocks will now be felt in every other house in the area. 

“फ se Field, श se Shiksha” is a series of 10 audio stories coming from the lived experiences and imaginations of education in rural India. How do we look at education outside classrooms? More importantly, who gets access to education at all? We explore all this and more, as members of our Learning Lab team take us along on their journeys of shiksha. In this episode, Rani interweaves sexuality with education when she realises that her stepping out to study comes with the condition of restricting her love interests.

गीता की कॉलोनी में एक ऐसा भूकंप आया जिसकी गति को किसी भी तरह के रिक्टर स्केल से नहीं मापा जा सकता था. क्योंकि ये भूचाल ज़मीन के भीतर से नहीं बल्कि उसकी कॉलोनी के एक घर से निकला था और अब पूरे मोहल्ले में इसकी खबर फैल चुकी थी. हुआ यूं कि गीता के मोहल्ले से एक लड़की, किसी दूसरी जाति के अपने लड़के दोस्त (ब्यॉफ्रेंड) के साथ घर छोड़कर भाग गई. इस घटना से पूरे मोहल्ले में हड़कंप मच चुका था. अब इसका असर तो हर घर पर पड़ना ही था. कैसे? जानने के लिए सुनिए रानी की कहानी भूचाल. 

भारत के ग्रामीण इलाकों से निकले, शिक्षा के अनुभव और उनमें कल्पनाओं के पंख लगाए 10 कहानियों की यह ऑडियो शृंखला अब आपके सामने है. इस शृंखला की हर कहानी अपने आप में शिक्षा के अनुभवों और उन्हें देखने के नज़रिए से बिलकुल जुदा है. ये कहानियां सवाल करती हैं कि क्लासरूम के बाहर हम शिक्षा को कैसे देखते हैं? और उससे भी महत्त्वपूर्ण कि शिक्षा तक पहुंच किसकी है?
