Welcome! You've just landed at  Student & the Coach. Ep 3: “Self Sabotage”Let's say, you have training tomorrow and you’ve decided not to drink tonight even though you had a big night planned. All your mates are drilling you with the old ‘don’t dog the boys!’OrYou have a friend that won’t stop climbing into bed with their ex, they know it’s toxic but can’t seem to stop. OrYou’ve got 30 minutes to kill on your break at work, do you head outside for a stroll in the sun? Or stay in the tearoom with your colleagues and snack on treats? The answers to these scenarios all depend on the personal goals, the individual desire to ‘fit in’ and the critical decision which are made when under pressure. In today's episode our hosts, Lia, Mick and Corey, student and coaches from Excel Health and Performance, discuss how we’re sabotaging our goals due to deeper emotional needs.  When we identify that need, and its contribution to sabotage, we’re well on the way to success. Self-sabotage is a result of thoughts or behaviours that make us act in a way that keeps us from reaching our goals. It’s the voice in the back of your mind saying, ‘this is too hard, you can’t do this!https://www.facebook.com/Student-and-The-Coach-102284834599070/ https://www.facebook.com/excelhealthandperformance1/
