Kevin Cooney and his wife are a missionaries to a remote people group in Indonesia.I sat down with Kevin in early December to talk about his early walk with God, and meeting his wife Sarah.With Kevin's humor and humility, we talk about how God moved in his heart to reevaluate his understanding of scripture, and the call to go out and spread the Gospel.Kevin and I discuss the going from living the "American Dream" to selling everything they had to move to Texas to train as missionaries.Today they travel hours in a dug out canoe to reach an island, risking their lives to share faith in a Muslim country. We talk about the health challenges they face as a family, and real risk of death from any number of diseases or scenarios.
