Welcome back everyone for episode 22 of the zero analytics podcast, where we explore the karting world to hear the journey from top performers in all aspects of our sport. In Today’s episode we visit the southeast to dig into the tedious process of preparing the racing surface for some of the biggest races in the sport. Daytona Dirt, Georgia Karting Complex, Patriot speedway and even the karting event held last year at the famed Charlotte Dirt Track (just to name a few). The track can dictate many things on race day.... both good and bad. A few months ago we visited with a gentleman Who excels at preparing the same track throughout the year...... today we look at the approach from someone who travels to a bunch of different tracks containing very different soil structures and geographical hurdles to prepare tracks for race day. As with past guest who are in the process of mastering their trade in the area of tires, motors and chassis it’s refreshing to speak to someone at the top of their game in any area. There is a ton of knowledge for racers and track owners in this conversation. Ladies and gentlemen without any further adu.... my friend Mr Mackie flood.
