In this episode of Social List, Ashish Mishra talks about Bihar. Posting “defamatory and offensive comments” against the Bihar government can soon land you in jail as the state administration has decided to bring such remarks on social media under the category of cybercrime. In a letter written to all secretaries of the state government, chief of the Economic Offences Wing, IG Nayyar Hasnain Khan, said, “It has come to light that certain persons and organizations have been making defamatory and offensive comments on social media against the government, respected ministers, parliamentarians, legislators, and government officials. This is against prescribed law and comes under the category of cybercrime.” US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris's Inauguration ceremony included some iconic moments. But none of them became the internet's favorite, quite like Bernie Sanders's outfit choice for the historic day. The Vermont Senator chose a very practical outfit, given the biting winter of the United States, and the internet loved every bit of it. Bernie Sanders arrived at the swearing-in ceremony wearing a very casual attire. He was seen at the US Capitol wearing a face mask, coat, pants, warm mittens and clutching a manila envelope. According to BBC, Bernie's mittens were made by a schoolteacher from his home state, using repurposed wool sweaters and recycled plastic bottles. JoeBidenIsNotMyPresident is trending on Twitter in India and he actually is not the president of India. The trend has caught attention of several people and there is one social media user who triggered this trend. Just ahead of his swearing in, Biden had tweeted that it is a new day in America. To this, Twitter user from India, Prayag Tiwari, replied that Biden is not his president. Many in the comments thought he was a Trump supporter. But Tiwari cracked up everyone when he said that Biden is not his president because he is from India.
