In this episode of Social List, Ashish Mishra talks about Rihanna. A day after international celebrities Rihanna and Greta Thunberg called for support towards the farmers’ protest, Bollywood superstars like Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, and sportspersons like Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble joined the Centre’s call to stand united against “propaganda” against India’s policies. Kangana Ranaut reacted to Rihanna's tweet in her trademark belligerent manner and used adjectives like 'fool' and 'dummy' to describe the international sensation. She wrote, "No one is talking about it because they are not farmers, they are terrorists who are trying to divide India so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like the USA... Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies." Amid big terms, bigger numbers and all sorts of soundbites, a witty and well-timed comment Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman provided for a lighter moment on Budget day. After presenting the 2021 Union Budget in Parliament earlier in the day, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, MoS Anurag Thakur, and other Finance Ministry officials headed for the post-Budget press conference. Nirmala Sitharaman patiently answered multiple questions by several reporters on the Budget for over an hour. However, her defense of a woman reporter during the press conference went viral.
