Arthur is the founder and executive director of the Life Goes On Foundation, a non-profit organization with the mission to end senseless gun violence, spread spinal cord injury awareness and uplift our under-served youth. The foundation was founded after his injury in 2007, a gunshot wound to the chest led to a severe T3 complete spinal cord injury leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. The unknown assailant was never found. Arthur is also a member of the NWBA playing shooting guard for the Golden State Road Warriors wheelchair basketball team. Arthur doesn't stand alone, he is supported by his mother Michelle and two brothers Anthony and Andrew.
